Job Qualification Requirements:
Job requires 2 months on the job training and 12 months work experience. Knowledge of air freight movement and basic customs clearance procedure. (1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION. This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position, commencing on October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2027 (2) WORK HOURS. Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment at least (40) forty hours per week. (3) THREE -FOURTHS GUARANTEE. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. (4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE. The employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon the completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. (5) PROVISIONS OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. (6) ON-THE-JOB TRAINING. Arrange movement of inbound and outbound shipments to its destination. Prepare manifest and process outbound and inbound airline’s document requirements. Notifies consignees on arrival of shipment and arrange pick-up and delivery. Coordinate all import/export freight activities, including quotation, booking, documentation, data entry, shipment tracking and tracing. Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external). Generate shipping documentation such as commercial invoices and customs declaration. Knowledge of air carriers and schedules. Identify and examine cargo for safe transport. Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer’s policies and requirements. Comply with Customs and TSA regulations and requirements. Attends to customer inquiries and advise clients concerning terms of delivery and payment. Daily interaction with key client personnel, schedule pick up of cargo, booking and departure. Prepare reports and complete as requested month-end process. Work with multiple departments to collect information and report back to customers the detailed report. Compile and generate monthly sales and activity report. Update working logs on a daily basis.
